We care about our communities

We recognise that communities are the ultimate beneficiaries of our works, and the wider positive impact that our business has on communities.

Delivering social outcomes through project delivery
We harness our technical expertise to deliver social outcomes, by working with our clients to ensure that our solutions deliver social objectives and make a positive contribution. We seek to go beyond compliance, to help create healthier, safer and more resilient communities that protect and enhance the environment.
We recognise that our clients employ us to deliver benefits to their customers, stakeholders and the wider community and add social value to every project that we deliver.

Being a responsible business
As a responsible business, we recognise our obligation to our communities. Not just in our works that make an important contribution to building healthier, safer and more resilient communities, but how we operate in doing so.

As a national design and build engineering contractor, we offer a range of employment opportunities across the UK. Our ethical and inclusive approach to employment has helped us to build a team that is dynamic and diverse, offering opportunities across a range of disciplines.

Our direct delivery model means that we seek to employ and develop our own colleagues, supported by significant and consistent investment in training and development.

We recognise that our industry has a significant economic impact on communities. We play a prevalent role in supporting the growth of responsible regional businesses. We have direct relationships with all of our suppliers and seek to build long-term value-adding relationships; many of our suppliers have grown with us. Our sustainable and ethical approach to procurement ensures that responsible and ethical practices are embedded within our supply chains (i.e. Modern Slavery, IR35 and Whisteblowing compliance), and that we use certified and sustainable materials. We actively engage with social enterprises and not for profit organisations.
