Lincoln Defences

Project: Lincoln Defences

Location: Across the city of Lincoln

Value band: £5m-10m

Client: Environment Agency

Awards: ICE East Midlands Merit Awards (EMMAs) - Medium Project of the Year Merit Award - Winner

New and improved flood defences were required at eight different locations across Lincoln.

We created a hub in the city centre to enable easy access to sites in the surrounding area. From replacing sluice gates to rebuilding flood walls to installing new sheet piling, on each site we dealt with the challenges of working in tight public
areas, employing techniques such as silent piling to minimise disturbance to our neighbours.
